Welcome to the Jumpspace Wiki
Jumpspace is an RPG using Mongoose Traveller 2nd Edition rules with variations based on the setting.
The setting is a conglomeration of James S. A. Corey's The Expanse series of books, Larry Niven & Jerry Pournelle's Mote in God's Eye, Jerry Pournelle's King David's Spaceship along with his Janissaries books, and elements from the video rpg Mass Effect.
The game begins on January 1, 2350 as the newly hired Crew of the Alderson Endeavor are assembled on Tycho Station to take possession of the ship from it's contractor builders at Tycho one year after the "Discovery". The Endeavor is a standard Donosev Class Scout ship, however engineers (and security forces) from Alderson Corp arrived shortly before the crew to install the newly invented Alderson Drive for testing.
